Opening Scene

So as I enter my last week here in Savannah, I felt that I should reflect on everything that I have experienced throughout my 5 months of my freshman year here.
In September, I began by moving my life from New Jersey to Georgia where I would be spending the next four years of my life. After getting antiquated with the area I became good friends with my two roommates. I was later reconnected with a good friend that I had met a year or so ago and her roommate. From there all of us became amazing friends. Later in that month, a lifelong dream would be fulfilled. I was accepted into the Disney College Program and given my first job with the Walt Disney Company. A dream that was a long time coming. From there I would learn many new things from classes that I would take during my first quarter while attending SCAD. I later returned home in November to a smiling family waiting at the gate of Newark airport. I than spent the next month and a half hanging out with old friends and family and sharing my experiences with them. After my winter break was over I hoped on the plane to head back to savannah. After staying the night at the Weston, I was reunited with my family away from home. We swapped our secret Santa gifts after a nice night at Wasabis. It was nice to be back home. A few weeks into the quarter we all decided to take a long weekend trip to Atlanta. There we would all not only enjoy what the city had to offer but we enjoyed being around each other as friends. After that long weekend away from home we returned to Savannah to continue our studies.  As the quarter progressed we continued to work hard even when the work load just never seemed to end. Finally My last two weeks here have been quite the emotional roller coaster ride. With only tow school days left here I hope that things will all pull together and that we can sort everything out before I leave to head to Disney until next fall. After my first year here, I can honestly say that I am living the dream. I have been lined up to work for my dream company and I go to school where I learn to be creative and I get grades for using my imagination, something that I thrive doing. I thank God everyday for allowing me such an amazing chance to be here and to be with the people that I am with because they are truly what have made this experience what I has turned out the be. I am very excited to be headed off to work at Disney but I will very much miss Savannah and all that it has to offer and everything that it means to me. Leaving friends who are basically my family will be no easy task but a necessary one nevertheless. I just want to thank everyone for there support and friendship during my time here and I cannot wait to get back in September.

For the time being. Please subscribe and share my new blog that I will be constantly updating (unlike this one) about my experiences on the Disney CP. It should be a ton of fun so please please please check back there all the time!
